She may no longer be a diamond-holding cast member of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but Teddi Mellencamp has not exactly gotten out of the show’s high-drama swimming pool. The accountability coach and rock-and-roll scion still digs in and throws shade at the long-running romp (and the entire franchise) with another former housewife, Orange County’s Tamra Judge, on their “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast.

Not too long after she was stripped of her diamond in 2020, Mellencamp and her security expert husband, Edwin Arroyave, moved to a San Fernando Valley mansion. The 4,200-square-foot Hollywood Hills home where they shacked up during her three-year tenure on RHOBH is now for sale with an asking price pushing up on $6 million.

For those not feeling up to the commitment of a purchase, the sleekly updated hillside contemporary, which sits on nearly two thirds of an acre of sloping land, with sky-high city views framed by the mouth of Laurel Canyon, is also available as a rental at a very RHOBH price of $40,000 per month.

When it came time to choose a real estate agent, Mellencamp kept it in all the Bravo family; The property is represented by RHOBH OG Kyle Richards’ daughter, Farrah Brittany, and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, both with The Agency.

Horizontal strip fencing and vertical wood cladding serve to add geometric complexity as well as soften the exterior of the boxy clean-lined structure, while white porcelain tile floors add pristine luster to the sun-filled open-plan great room. A movie screen-sized TV hangs on a smooth-paneled wall in the living area, the wood-accented stainless-steel galley kitchen adjoins a bar nook outfitted with a couple of wine fridges, and a vast wall of automated floor-to-ceiling glass slides open and vanish into the walls to merge the loft-like space with one of the two faux-grassed terraces that span the width of the house.

Each of the four guest bedrooms boasts an updated marble bathroom, and the primary suite amps up the celeb-style luxury with a spa bath and boutique-style dressing room. As in every other room in the house, there are floor-to-ceiling windows that frame huge views. There’s also a concrete-floored gym and a home office.

For more strenuous activity, a sport court is nipped along the side of the house and hovering above the rugged canyon below, a huge deck provides plenty room for more leisurely al fresco dining and sunbathing. With boldly veined marble (or marble-like) counters, the outdoor kitchen and bar makes poolside entertaining a breeze, and a television mounted to a pole means everyone can whittle away scorching summer afternoons and balmy evenings keeping up with the Housewives while paddling around in cool water.

And of course, the whole enchilada is protected by an extensive state-of-the-art security system.

The fit-as-fiddles couple acquired the two-story home in the Mount Olympus neighborhood in late 2017 for not quite $4.1 million from software heiress and film producer Megan Ellison. (Ellison lost a small fortune when she sold the house to the Mellencamp-Arroyaves; she paid $5.25 million for it in early 2015.)

This is not the first time Mellencamp and Arroyave have hoisted the property on the sales and rental markets. Around the time they closed on their brand-spanking-new 8,200-square-foot, seven-bedroom mansion in Encino, which cost them about $6.5 million and is quite similar in style and finishes to Dorit Kemsley’s Encino home, their Hollywood Hills home popped up for sale at just under $6 million. It didn’t sell and was later rented out at $25,000 per month, according to online records.
